You can always cash out early without advance notice and without a fee. Just remember, the amount of earned interest you keep will be based on your guaranteed investment certificate (GIC) term:

• For GIC terms of 3, 6, and 9 months, your cash out will not include earned interest
• For GIC terms of 12 months, your cash out will include all of your earned interest
• For GIC terms of 18 months and 2, 3, 4, and 5 years, your cash out will include a portion of earned interest
